It is an interesting question that I hear many people in our community (people who have been discarded by narcissists) ask, “Why did they leave me?”
Leaving a person who has lied, cheated, hurt, manipulated, used, and needlessly harmed us can be one o the most difficult things to do.
So, you just got discarded by the narcissist you were dating. And now you see them with a new supply. Instead of moving on, you stalk them, think about them, and, most of all, you compare yourself to the new supply…um, I mean the new lover in their lives.
We all are familiar with the saying “misery loves company,” right? Ever wonder why misery is the life of the party that sucks all the joy, happiness, and liveliness out of people?
I often speak on this concept of “life being a war,” and that in this war that we call life, we will be confronted by a sea of enemies. We will be attacked on all sides. And that we will have to suffer losses at the hands of unjust people for irrational reasons.
Narcissists perceivably (pay attention to this word here) suck all the hope, joy, happiness, and confidence out of their victims.
