I am a FIRM BELIEVER in this idea that “it is not the MEN who count but the MAN who counts.”
It is not uncommon for the narcissist, who may have discarded their victim, or if they have been left, to try and hoover the person back into their lives.
If there is one thing that will piss a narc off and have them flee in terror at the same time…is a person who is brave and assertive.
If there is one thing that I think many people overlook in life, is this idea that narcissists are in love with who they are and are massively happy with who they are.
The more I research about narcissism, the more I listen to videos about narcissists, and the more I encounter narcissist daily, I believe these people are the living embodiment of chaos.
It is not your job to fix the narcissist’s MADE UP problems. It is not your job to be their parent, their guardian, their role model, their hero (as if you could).
When I say I’m in love with you, I mean I love the way I feel when I’m with you. I love myself through you. I love seeing myself through your eyes. I love seeing myself through my eyes imagining how I look through your eyes.
This is just a reminder to those who feel like they are nothing. A reminder to those who may have been discarded. A reminder to those who have to deal with the daily onslaught of insults and beratement.
Narcissistic people are NOT brave nor are they courageous. They are ill-mannered kidults who throw temper tantrums every time they don’t get what they want.
Narcissistic people seem to be everywhere. So ending up in a relationship is not that uncommon. Sadly for many of us who end up with these people, see a slow but steady decline in our lives.
