“I’m Too Old”
“Who told you it was too late? And more importantly, why did you choose to believe them?”― Richelle E. Goodrich
I want you to imagine that you KNOW without a shadow of the doubt that you have 30 years left to live. I want you to imagine that in this timeframe, you have the opportunity to become healthier, happier, wiser, smarter, successful, in a loving relationship…that in this timeframe of 30 more GUARANTEED years — you used the time that you had left; effectively.
Now, I want you to imagine being with a narcissist before learning this news that you spent 20 years with them. In the twenty years with them, you seemed to have lost so much time, so much joy, so much beauty, so much hope, so much pleasure, so much self-respect…and so much of your…self.
In those 20 years, you lost who you were, but upon learning this news, you discover something amazing after leaving your narcissist.
And this “something”, being…yourself.
Continue to read on, because if you think it is too late for you to find love again, become successful again, build relationships with your kids, or just to late to LIVE THE REMAINER OF YOUR LIFE; I am here to tell you…you are wrong.
As Richell E. Goodrich asked, “Who told you it was too late? And more importantly, why did you choose to believe them?”
Live not by the opinion of what the world says and thinks. Because when it is time to bring down the curtains on the broadway stage, that is called your life, you will regret listening to the critics and heckler instead of hearing the applaud of life cheering you on.
Give it a good show and a great ending to finish on.
